In this segment of our training we are going through Dynamic soccer warm up drills using Myosource Ultimate Kinetic Bands. Myosource Kinetic Bands are designed to fire the muscles by adding resistance to each movement.  The soccer warm up drills and soccer warm up exercises in the video are great for girls soccer and women's soccer.  

As you will notice in the video above, this girls soccer player is moving at a smooth and consistent pace to get the blood flowing and the muscles activated. The purpose of this soccer dynamic warm up is to prepare the soccer player for what will happen during an intense soccer practice session or a soccer game. Whether the soccer player is performing high knees going forward or backward, forward butt kicks or backward butt kicks the idea is to mimic the action movements that will take place on the soccer field. It is very important for soccer players to perform their dynamic warm up drills and movements with proper technique. Soccer players who perform their soccer warm up drills just going through the motions do not generally get the proper and thorough soccer warm up that they need in order to prevent injury and prepare the muscles for an intense workout. Soccer players must fire the quadriceps muscles, hamstrings and glutes while working on balance, flexibility, knee drive and quick feet.

Great Dynamic Warm Up Drills for Girls Socer and Women's Soccer:  

Bird Feeder: This is a great women's soccer dynamic warm up drill to work on balance and hip strength to fire the muscles in the hamstrings, hip flexors and quadriceps.  Myosource Kinetic Bands cause the muscles to contract and react with each movement.  

Toy Soldier or High Kicks: We immediately move into a simple toy soldier or high kick. Notice that that the soccer player in this video is performing this drill right hand to right foot then left hand to left foot making sure not to cross over.  

Ladder Drills: Next perform some consistent ladder drills to work the feet in lateral movement and when going backwards maintain concertration and focus in order to prepare the muscles for and intense soccer practice or game.
