Its time to increase leg strength, speed and endurance to become more explosive on the Rugby field. Training with Myosource Kinetic Bands allows Rugby players to perform  most any exercise or drill including  position specific training. Myosource Kinetic Bands allow Rugby athletes to maximize training time for conditioning as well as sport specific skills. It is as simple as putting on the leg straps and resistance bands to perform your regular Rugby training.

Rugby players must be able to accelerate and increase their speed in all directions.   Myosource Kinetic Bands,  Speed Ladder and cones are great tools to use to to work on increasing acceleration, stride length and explosive lateral moves. Rugby players also need to be able to reach maximum speed when breaking away. Make sure to perform resisted and unresisted sets. 

Rugby players have to be able to change direction at high speed.  Make sure to perform the Rugby drills in the video above to work on explosive change in direction moves.  Rugby is a game of bursts of speed so some great rugby drills would be high knees, bounds, skips, hops, arm pumps and to strive for quality moves.  Myosource Kinetic Bands will add resistance to each movement in all of these drills to increase speed in all directions.
