Great athletes train with high intensity.
The above video includes great training exercises for softball players and other athletes to increase their strength and speed. The video shows one portion of our great training of the week. Each circuit in this training is a compilation of five exercises.
- Start with endurance runs; 1 minute each with two 10 second sprints within the minute / Complete 3-4 rounds depending on cardiovascular level
- Split squats
- Lateral planks with a knee tuck-
- Jumping medicine ball slams-
- Squat press-jumping knee tucks
Softball speed is developed through various skills; proper speed mechanics, strength skills and pure output. Softball Players who practice half way generally perform that way on the field. Myosource Kinetic Bands provides the ability for softball players and all other athletes to develop all of these speed skills. It is time to get faster on those bases and on the field or court.
