Cheerleading Tryouts - Be Prepared by Training with Kinetic Bands (Leg Resistance Bands)

Schools and competitive teams all over the world will be hosting tryouts for their cheerleading squads. Cheerleaders in most cities and towns work hard all year long preparing their body and mind for this intense time of showing off their skills. This growing interest in cheerleading around the world has become an intense epidemic and the competition continues to get stronger every season. At tryouts it is definitely time to shine or time to go home. It takes drive and determination to work on jumping higher and increasing mobility, flexibility, stability, balance, power, strength, and agility, which are all key factors in cheerleading. Whether you are a base, spotter, or flyer you have to have the mindset of becoming a champion. Training with resistance bands to prepare your body for tryouts will result is great gains in less time so that you are able to reach your goals and perform at your best. There is an excitement in cheerleading that is both motivating and contagious. It is time to get pumped up and prepare your body for that moment to shine during tryouts. The cheerleaders who have high jumps, better form, great tumbling, and beautiful dance moves will stand out and make a great impression on coaches and judges.
So you may be asking yourself, how do I Prepare for Tryouts? Appropriate and proper training is a must when it comes to cheerleading.
Find out the requirements – this is so important because going to tryouts blind and having no idea what is expected can be embarrassing and a set up to be let down. The goal is to outperform the competition so knowing what is expected will allow you to set goals and set up a training schedule and plan. You will only have a short time to show what you can do so find out what the requirements are so that you will have no regrets when you leave tryouts. Once you know what you have to do then train training with resistance will enable you to get your body ready.
Do not wait until the week of tryouts to prepare your body – Procrastination in finding out when tryouts are in order to prepare is often the results of let down. Cheerleaders are athletes and have to prepare their bodies for the intense practices, games, and competitions. Waiting until the last minute to train often results is a week of working the body so hard that tryouts suffer because of soreness or injury. It will be hard to perform your best if you are not in tiptop shape. Make sure you have plenty of time to train. Your body will be glad you did.
Warm up – When you first start preparing for cheer tryouts a light warm up is essential.
