Schools and competitive teams all over the world will be hosting tryouts for their cheerleading squads. So you may be asking yourself, how do I Prepare for Tryouts? Appropriate and proper training is a must when it comes to cheerleading.

Find out the requirements – this is so important because going to tryouts blind and having no idea what is expected can be embarrassing and a set up to be let down. The goal is to outperform the competition so knowing what is expected will allow you to set goals and set up a training schedule and plan. You will only have a short time to show what you can do so find out what the requirements are so that you will have no regrets when you leave tryouts. Do not wait until the week of tryouts to prepare your body – Procrastination in finding out when tryouts are in order to prepare is often the results of let down.
