It is no secret that football speed is what is going to take you go from being a good football player to a football player who stands out. This is for any position. From the lineman to the running back speed is essential. A running back may be in a situation where he has to have the speed and endurance to run down the entire field, but every football player on the team will need that first step speed and acceleration speed to go 5-10 yards per play. This is why not all football players spend a lot of time running straight aways in their speed training. It just makes more sense to perform speed drills and speed training to increase acceleration and first step speed. If you are tired of being that mediocre football then put on Myosource Kinetic Bands and lets get started speed training.
There are a lot of football players that are just genetically blessed with excessive speed. Although this is true, every football players needs to work on increasing their speed. A slow first step could cost you a sack, tackle, or a first down no matter how fast you run on the straight away.
What is necessary in order to increase football sprinting speed?
Strength Training: Using Myosource Kinetic Bands in your football speed drills will put tension on the muscles causing them to contract and react quickly in each movement. This will enable football players to build powerful lower body muscles that will become more explosive. The quicker the muscles contract the quicker the football player will be in their first step, lateral moves, and sprinting. Notice in the video above how the football player is moving side in a short distance. He is contracting his lower body muscles quickly and the tension of the kinetic bands will help make quicker.
Mechanics: The football player in the video above is working on his sprinting form while working to improve his speed. Form is very important in increasing speed. When a football player is off balance or unable to remain stable it is difficult to make that incredible player. Football players must work on their ability to accelerate and then move into top speed.
